Determining Your Material Cost
Due to the custom nature of each cut and/or engraved shape, it would be very difficult to nail down a single price to
cover all circumstances. So to help you determine how much your shapes will cost based on material, size and
thickness, we’ve put together this handy chart. It lists each material and it’s cost per square inch.
For example, a shape measuring approximately 3” x 2” equals 6 square inches. The cost of cutting this shape out of
1/8” Baltic Birch Plywood would be, according to the chart below, $0.15 per square inch x 6, or $0.90.
